Mare Hirsch // Muon g-2 Uncertainty Clock

Uncertainty Clock draws on the dataset generated by Fermilab’s Muon g-2 experiment to generate a field of digital particles that represent the virtual particles that cannot be directly detected by scientists but still impact the physical dynamics of our world. The behavior of the digital particles is influenced by features extracted from the data, such as the density and spatial spread of the digital particles which corresponds to the number of muons detected by the 24 calorimeters. The structural pattern of the particles reflects the circular design of the Muon g-2 experiment.
